The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded pitcher Claudio Vargas back the Milwaukee Brewers in echange for catching prospect Vinny Rottino.
Vargas had been used as a reliever with the Dodgers after coming off a 3 month stay on the DL. Vargas won 11 games for the Brewers in 2007 but struggled before being released in 2008.
The Brewers are hoping to snap out of their recent slide which has seen them fall 4 games behind the first place Cubs and 3.5 back of the second place Cardinals.
