Rumor: Glavine Close to Accepting “Hometown Discount”

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has Tom Glavine almost ready to sign a deal to return to the Braves. After opting out of his $13 million dollar option with the Mets, Glavine is reportedly ready to accept about $6 million less to return home to Atlanta and rejoin buddies John Schmolz, Chippr Jones and Bobby Cox.
