Rockies Acquire Guthrie from Orioles

The Colorado Rockies and the Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a trade this morning, with starting pitcher Jeremy Guthrie heading to Colorado in exchange for pitchers Matt Lindstrom and Jason Hammel, Ken Rosenthal tweets.

Guthrie, 32, has been the #1 man in Baltimore's rotation for the past few seasons, and has a career record of 47-65 with a 4.19 ERA. He has been a durable starter who has thrown more than 200 innings that last three seasons.

Hammel, 29, has worked as a starter and a reliever and last season went 7-16 with a 4.76 ERA. Lindstrom, 31, is a reliever who had an ERA of 3.00 last season in 54 relief innings pitched.
