Rumor: Rolen for Capuano

In a rumor that's already apparently run its course, ESPN had the Cardinals trying to move their unhappy (and injury-prone) third baseman, Scott Rolen to the Brewers for pitcher Chris Capuano and a prospect. The Cards need pitching but it's unclear how Capuano (5-12 last year with a 5.1 ERA) helps in that regard. It's really hard to see this as anything but a salary dump by St. Louis. If the deal has actually fallen through, rumor has it that the Giants or Dodgers might be interested.
