The Milwaukee Journal-Sential’s Tom Haudicourt tweeted that Brewers GM met with the agent for free agent shortstop Jimmy Rollins.

The Brew Crew could be looking to upgrade over Yuniesky Betancourt at shortsop and get another veteran bat in the lineup to replace the departed Prince Fielder. Yesterday it was reported that the team is moving on from talks about re-signing the slugging first baseman.

Rollins’s agent is not planning to meet with the Phillies today, tweets Ken Rosenthal. But Rollins’s agent is Dan Lozano, and he also represents that Albert Pujols guy. That makes him a very busy man this week.
